Welcome to My Story

Lisa

HI, I’M LISA,

the licensing artist and surface designer behind Lisee Ree Designs. I am a wife, mother of 4, and creator.

I grew up in rural Idaho where my childhood was full of imagination, exploration, and wide open spaces. Home was a place of love and belonging, and my desire to create designs that are both meaningful and beautiful came from that environment. I now consider Utah home, where I live with my husband and four children. My heartfelt designs capture the feeling of coming home with sophisticated botanicals in earthy colors and rich textures.

Extraordinary Girl Tee1.jpg

One of the most important things I've learned throughout my life experience is what “home” feels like. I’ve found that feeling in people, places, and things--an unexplained connection to the heart and soul of someone, someplace, or something. I feel peace and calm when I'm at home. Capturing a small part of that feeling in my work is my way of connecting with the world around me and with you.

As you click around, get comfy and make yourself at home. Together we can make something beautiful.

Things I Love

Being Home

I'm definitely a home body. Give me a quiet house and some time alone to rejuvenate or create and I'm a happy girl. If you're an introvert, you know what I mean, right?

Painting

I love the feeling of a brush on paper. I love gradients (which is why I love watercolor so much). I love the blending and the way something so beautiful came from nothing.

Sewing

Sewing was my passion for over a decade, and it still brings me joy. Sewing also brought me back to design since I wanted to sew with fabric I created, and I'm go grateful I followed that pull.

You can read my blog here.

Gardening

In summer, you'll find me wandering the garden several times a day--checking on my plant babies (especially the tomatoes and flowers).  I love a good walk through the nursery, too.
